Day 1
Bangkok
Your adventure begins in the cultural and economic hub of Thailand, Bangkok! Meet with your fantastic guide and new Busabout family and get the lowdown on all of the exciting adventures ahead. We meet up in the reception area this evening before heading out to explore the infamous backpacker area of Khao San Road. Join us as we head out into the night for the experience of a lifetime in the party capital of the world!
Day 2
Bangkok to Pai (overnight train)
The day is yours to get out there and explore to your heart’s content. Check out the home of Thai royalty at the incredible Grand Palace complex, marvel at the intricate design of Wat Pho temple, enjoy a cruise along the Chao Phraya river and see the Temple of Dawn, or visit the largest weekend market in the world, Chatuchak. Later on this evening we’ll meet up and prepare for our overnight transfer! Kick back and relax with the comfort of A/C, and get some rest for the exciting day ahead. - Breakfast included
Day 3
Pai
Have a stretch before we grab a bite to eat for breakfast. Then we begin our meander north with a scenic stop at the spectacular Pai Canyon along the way to check out the panoramic views. We’ll arrive in the chilled town of Pai, and head out on an orientation walk before checking into the hotel. Spend the afternoon however you please - explore the surrounding area, relax in a geothermal pool at the hotel, or wander along the River Pai (see if you can catch a glimpse of the local elephants!). Tonight we meet in reception and head into town together to visit the markets, and try out the Thai cuisine. Then we’ll visit a local bar for some relaxing drinks and close out the night.
Day 4
Pai
Today we hope you’ll join us for an exciting optional excursion, as we trek through the jungle! See the sights and sounds of the wilderness and meet remote villagers as we make our way through the local flora, and onward to explore the breathtaking Lod Caves on a bamboo raft. If you’d rather take it easy today, relax by the pool, shop for some Thai treasures, try some delicious street food, and get lost in the rich natural beauty of Pai’s surrounding wilderness. This is our last evening in Pai so check off those last minute sights and enjoy a drink in one of the numerous hippie-style bars. - Breakfast included
Day 5
Pai to Chiang Mai
This morning it’s time to head back to Chiang Mai. Our first stop is at an ancient temple, the oldest in the area, with a local guide to highlight all the intricacies. Today we have two epic optional excursions available; a cooking class to grasp the complexities of Thai cuisine, and a bone crunching Muay Thai show to get the adrenaline pumping. After all the blood pumping action, relax with an ice-cold beverage in one of Chiang Mai’s awesome bars. - Breakfast included
Day 6
Chiang Mai
This is your free day to spend however you please in Chiang Mai! Have a wander around the Old Town today and hit the shops for some retail therapy. Head out to the gilded hillside temple of Wat Doi Suthep, or for cat lovers a visit to a cat cafe for a drink with some furry friends is an absolute must. If you feel like booking a unique experience, don’t miss the Ethical Elephant Experience! You’ll get a full day learning about these beautiful animals from local experts, and get to spend time feeding and bathing them too. Lunch is included too! However you decide to spend the day, just make the most of it! Tonight, we’ll head out into the night markets to explore and grab some dinner, before enjoying a truly Thai cultural experience with a twist at an included cabaret show! - Breakfast included

Chiang Mai
